SDGs

My name is Anvi Tuteja. I am fourteen-year-old blogger, writer, and published author. I love to read and write, and have recently published my first book – a compilation of my poetry, entitled Incandescence. I have been writing my blogsite – www.anvituteja.com – since October 2020. I am also very fond of research projects and I have created this reference document for the overview of my research with special emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Project 1: https://scribblesfromascribblingbot.wordpress.com/

This project is a blog and how-to guide on the use of Scribbling Robots. It incorporates SDG 4 (Quality Education) as it teaches students how to work with practical robots while involving concepts of engineering and basic physics. It also highlights SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) as it helps increase productivity, efficiently manages work and uses clean energy with no use of fossil fuels.

Project 2: https://trappedinhistory.news.blog/

This is an informative blog-site that educates readers about famous events in history that have taken place, one for every day of the year. It incorporates SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals). SDG 17 is especially important as this blog allows users to share information and collaborate while discussing historical events, which allows us to learn from our past to grow in our future.

Project 3: https://anvitutejaprojects.wordpress.com/

This project base is a compilation of code and art which shows viewers how to integrate IT with visual arts. From code that transforms to beautiful colours to project plans which correctly teach viewers to code, this blog promotes SDG 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).

Project 4: https://sdg10reducedinequalities.wordpress.com/

This is an informative blog all about SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities). Based on a micro project approach, it combines different ways of thinking – visual, creative and logical. It is a student-led and student-driven organization that aims at creating awareness about the social heroes in our community and encouraging other people to learn from their example. It helps preserve the impacts that have already been made while propagating further efforts by providing a knowledge bank about the topic.

Project 5: https://thegreatindiandesert.wordpress.com/

This is an informative website about ‘The Great Indian Desert’ and ‘The Tragic Truth of Jaiselmer Fort’. Aimed at attracting viewers with information about the Thar, this site helps raise awareness and donations for the preservation of Jaiselmer fort. By combing creativity, advertising and information, this incorporates SDG 4 (Quality Education), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and 17 (Partnership for the Goals).

Project 6: https://westernizationsociology.wordpress.com/

This is a research paper on Westernization: A Sociological Analysis on the spread of Western Culture, and the effects of Westernization in terms of cultural homogenization, neo-colonialism, and the inadvertent suppression of regional identities. This incorporates SDG 4 (Quality Education), 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and 17 (Partnership for the Goals).

Project 7: https://anvituteja.com/category/deutsch/

https://anvituteja.com/category/deutsch/

This is a German section on my blog – anvituteja.com. I have translated my poems into German to promote translation and learning of a foreign language. This incorporates SDG 4 (Quality Education), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 17 (Partnership for the Goals).

Project 8: https://padlet.com/anvi_tuteja/deutsch

Made with Padlet

This is my German micro-blog for a daily dose of German, wherein I describe my day. In order to better my understanding of the language, I started this blog of short titbits. This incorporates SDG 4 (Quality Education), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 17 (Partnership for the Goals).

Project 9: https://thenewnormalmay2020.wordpress.com/

This is a research paper I wrote in May-June 2020 about “The New Normal” after COVID-19. While some information is no longer relevant, this offers an unfiltered glimpse into the mind of a teenager, only 3 months into a global pandemic. It highlights SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and 17 (Partnership for the Goals).

Project 10: https://anvituteja.com/

Lastly, of course, my blog – Anvi’s Thoughts Caught – and my book (Incandescence). My poetry can be found here on amazon, as my first published book (https://www.amazon.in/Incandescence-those-wander-never-truly/dp/168538305X/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=anvi+tuteja&qid=1632582881&sr=8-1). I would like to take this opportunity to talk about my TEDx talk as well, about New Emerging Technologies (https://www.ted.com/talks/anvi_tuteja_emerging_technologies_in_digital_age), which encompasses all the SDG Goals. This talk is about a child’s experiences in a growing digital world, with an easy-to-understand message, supplemented by Harry Potter references.

Thank you for your time!
