QUEEN of the bad guys

I donโ€™t want to be the bad guy,
I donโ€™t want to end no careers,

I just donโ€™t want to run, run, run away,
From all my problems, and the so-called hatred,

I didnโ€™t want to have to be the only one,
Who told you the truth to your face,

I didnโ€™t have to stay up late,
Helping them through counseling and trauma,

I donโ€™t do anything Iโ€™m not proud of,
I donโ€™t do much to blame the other,

But stop trying to assume Iโ€™m the one
whoโ€™ll take it quietly, lying down to your symphony,

If you make me the demon, then thatโ€™s who
you will find, and if you make me the angel, then well

we wouldnโ€™t be here, then, would we?
But Iโ€™m standing at the edge of the ocean

waiting to hear an apology, waiting to see
your memories, waiting to talk this out, like adults,

But then you went ahead and made me the bad guy,
So donโ€™t blame me for the
slip of the knife,
curve of the blade,
tumbling glass of poison,

Because you made a choice and now, youโ€™re lying in it,
Lie, Lie, Lie to Me; Lie, Lie, Lie in this Mess you Made,

I didnโ€™t choose this lifestyle, it came and chose me,
I was brought to a cave blindfolded, and two hours later I was the Queen,

Not everyone can pull off Taylor Swift Karma,
just like not everyoneโ€™s made to stomach Betrayal.

born beautifully

Searching, Dreaming, Seeking โ€“ Incessantly
I, weary traveller, have spent many a forlorn night, searching, dreaming, seeking, oh, incessantly โ€“
For a place to set down my load, a place to one-day call home, and perhaps, a place to find solace from these tethers of humanity,

Yet as I travel, I am amazed โ€“ as I find myself again, and again, and yet again โ€“ could this be reality?
I find myself asking, repeatedly, as Iโ€™m struck dumb by this wonder, beauty and enigma โ€“ what is this worldโ€™s curious duality?

As the centuries go by, and humanity grows ever closer โ€“ my soul flits through the sleek minarets and columns of Chichen-Itza,
While I traverse the mahals and mandirs of India, I wander also through the mystical El Dorado, and Egyptโ€™s Pyramids of Giza,

And you may ask why? Why do I live the life of a nomad, a recluse, a risk-taker? And to me, there was only ever one path, you see โ€“
These challenging, new, engaging surroundings โ€“ which shove me out of my comfort zone โ€“ keep me alive, for each day alive is a dream,

Life is a gift, and is meant to be treasured โ€“ why, each day, I meet more and more people who no longer remain strangers,
And sharing these experiences, these lessons which only life can teach, is my purpose here on this Earth, being natureโ€™s messenger,

As I see, touch, taste and hear the wonders of our planet โ€“ it makes me wonder how much longer we have before itโ€™s irreparably damaged,
But thatโ€™s a thought for another day, another day to learn more about beautiful cultures, to mingle with different ideas, to truly appreciate our diverse advantage,

For when I travel, Iโ€™m truly free โ€“ free with my brothers and sisters and others โ€“ to revel in our shared heritage, to celebrate our fine communities,
Because this global village, this oasis of ours, is meant to promote culture, coexistence and harmony, and a safe future for our progeny, bringing us all closer together, thanks to our humanity,

And as I close my eyes, I see myself to be Fa-Hien, travelling, writing, recording, the city-states and kingdoms of China and India,
And I dream, I dream, perchance to see, the journeys of Vasco da Gama, sailing breezily by, the Cape of Good Hope in Africa,

And of Africa, oh โ€“ What more is there to say? The birthplace of humanity โ€“ Call it exploration then, adventure even, tourism now,
We travelled, we scattered, we went all over โ€“ itโ€™s our undeniable, call it inevitable, nature to roam around, well, Iโ€™ll explain how โ€“

No longer bound by the boundaries we ourselves had made, never restricted by the barriers of terrain, comfort or hospitality,
Our drive to know more, to explore, to furnish our curiosity, to gain more and more knowledge โ€“ and to look beyond, to unite us all โ€“ itโ€™s food for our soul, our innate universal quality,

No virus, no lockdowns, indeed, no, distancing could take that away โ€“ have you ever thought to wonder why stay-at-home ever hurt so much?
Itโ€™s because it violates our need, our desires to intermingle together โ€“ it restricts our capabilities to know more about each other โ€“ itโ€™s because we are creatures of habit and, travel, our crutch,

Because the world is filled, with all kinds of races โ€“ people from all religions, cultures, castes, and graces, yet this I know with surety:
Whether it be the plans we make, the food we eat, or the clothes we wear, this Global world to Global village, our unique celebration of cultures, is proof that beauty is unity in diversity.

why?
why yes?

mornings, i see you watching me (watch you)
(watch you) avert your eyes,

your lover,
i could never be,

why do you want this?
you’re in the palm of my hand, and i made a fist.

why?
why not?
small smile,
just barely caught,

every morning,
i wake,
pulled out of a dream,
of your face,

it drives me crazy,
demise of my mind,
another hallucination,
my name i signed,

does the universe
want this to happen?
are you giving me a sign?
of something about to happen?

valid nor sound,
i can’t say this with surety,
are you a dream,
or a mockery of my greatest parody?

Highlighted Initiative: Quality Control Circle

I’m excited to talk about an initiative that is especially close to my heart: the Quality Control Circle (QCC) Club at Suncity School, designed to empower students to become proactive problem solvers and change-makers within their community.

What is the QCC Club?

The QCC Club is all about inspiring students to tackle real-world issues using the Quality Control Circle methodology. This approach emphasizes teamwork, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvementโ€”skills that are essential for effective leadership and impactful community service.

What Do Students in the QCC Club?

  • Identify Challenges: Students will work together to identify areas of improvement or pressing issues within their community or school.
  • Develop Solutions: Using the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, theyโ€™ll brainstorm and implement strategies to address these challenges.
  • Evaluate Impact: The club will focus on assessing the effectiveness of their solutions, learning from each step, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Showcase Results: Students will present their projects and outcomes, demonstrating their problem-solving skills and the positive impact of their initiatives.

Why Join the QCC Club?

  • Gain Leadership Skills: Take the lead on projects and develop your ability to work collaboratively with peers.
  • Make a Difference: Address real issues and see the tangible results of your efforts in the community.
  • Learn Practical Skills: Apply the Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology to a variety of situations, preparing for future challenges and opportunities.

The QCC Club is not just about solving problemsโ€”itโ€™s about cultivating the next generation of leaders. By participating in this club, students will have the chance to take on leadership roles, inspire their peers, and make a significant impact. The initiative encourages students to lead by example, showing that with dedication and teamwork, they can drive meaningful change in their community.

If youโ€™re a student interested in joining or learning more about the club, stay tuned for upcoming meetings and workshops.
